Dear Black Women.
A gathering built to affirm us. Poetry, movement, and reflection, held one more season before we leave this room for good.
This Was Never Just A Class.
Dear Black Women started as a poem. It became a room. A room where Black women arrive as they are and leave a little more whole.
Every gathering is poetry, reflection, and movement. Every gathering is community built to affirm and celebrate Black women. This season, we hold that room one more time, before we leave 704 Dekalb for good.
Choose How You Show Up.
Come to a Sunday gathering. Come to the closing weekend. Come to both. However you arrive, come as you are.

One Last Weekend in This Room.
Before we leave 704 Dekalb, we're gathering for three days of movement, rest, reflection, and ceremony. This is where Dear Black Women began. This is where we close it with intention.
We open together. An evening of arrival, grounding, and gathering as a community.
A full day of movement, mindfulness, and reflection. The heart of the weekend.
We close in ceremony. Gratitude, poetry, and a send-off worthy of what this room has held.
What This Room Holds.
A Room That Sees You
Every body, every background, every level welcome. This was always the point.
Poetry As Practice
Reflection and language sit alongside movement here. Both are how we process, and how we heal.
Movement As Medicine
Yoga, Pilates, and mindful movement, led with care for every body in the room.
Sisterhood That Stays
The room ends, the relationships don't. This is what we're carrying into what's next.
"You are worthy of pouring into yourself."
Come Be In The Room.
Reserve your spot for a Sunday gathering or the closing weekend. However you show up, we're glad you're here.
